Presentation Specifications

Oral Presentations

• Plenary: 40 mins + 5 min for questions
• Keynote: 26 mins + 4 min for questions
• Contributed: 12 mins + 3 min for questions

Audiovisual Equipment

All presentation rooms contain several OHPs, a document visualizer, PA system, radio microphones, white boards, slide projectors, centrally controlled video players, and video/data projectors, while connections to the campus network can be arranged if necessary.

All presentations are in the Steele Building, and details and photographs of each room can be seen HERE. Specific rooms used are:

• Steele-206 Monday-Thursday
• Steele-329 Monday-Thursday
• Steele-309 Monday-Thursday
• Steele-329 Friday Short courses

Poster Specifications

Each poster presentation should fit within a panel 1.8m high x 1.2m wide and will be pinned or velcroed in position. Please note:

• Authors names must be clearly visible and be in at least 35 font
• Posters are designed to be read in 3-4 minutes so please keep text to a minimum. Illustrations/photos/graphs etc are preferred.
• Font on posters should be readable from 3 metres.
• Presenters must bring their own velcro and pins to attach posters.
• Handouts that complement the poster are most welcome.
• Presenters are required to stand by their posters to answer questions.
• Poster position will be specified in the ACOLS program book.
